Laboratory Services

Our Laboratory Services are of uncommon quality. A Board-certified Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist directs the lab, and a California-Licensed Medical Technologist supervises every department. The lab maintains a highly experienced staff of Clinical Laboratory Scientists, Laboratory Assistants, and Phlebotomists.

• Licensed and certified by the State of California and both State and Federal CLIA regulation (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments)
• American Proficiency Institute Proficiency Program participant. We encourage you to see our excellent testing results.
• Preparing for certification by independent review agencies, including the College of American Pathologists and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations

When you need medical tests, we provide skilled care with a gentle touch. Our Laboratory phlebotomy area presents a comfortable, convenient setting for your patients. With three draw stations and all paperwork completed at the draw area, we serve our patients with efficiency and reduced waiting times. Our highly skilled Phlebotomists obtain needed samples with minimal stress, even from young infants and geriatric patients. See a complete list of our tests.

Once samples are obtained, they are processed in the main lab, after which results are instantly available to DMG physicians, or are faxed automatically to any other ordering physician. Panic values are verified by repeat analysis and communicated directly to a member of your staff.

We have the capability to generate cumulative test reports showing your patient’s current and prior test results on one easy to read page, or even graphically.
