Dr. Stemmer

Paul Stemmer is a general surgeon specializing in abdominal surgery. Dr. Stemmer became a team member to the Drummond Medical Group in 1986. A year later, Dr. Stemmer became a partner for DMG.

Dr. Stemmer was awarded his medical degree from the University of California at Irvine. He remained at the UC at Irvine to complete his internship and residency. Dr. Stemmer found during medical school that he specifically loved the surgical aspect of medicine. Upon completion of his training, he joined DMG and has since been a valuable member of the surgical team.

Paul is married with two children. The family loves the Ridgecrest community for its close proximity to outdoor recreation like fishing, skiing, and dirt-bike riding. His daughter plays the flute and has performed with the Desert Community Orchestra. Dr. Stemmer’s son offers his talents to the school jazz band.
