The Drummond Medical Group is located in the center of Ridgecrest on the West Side of China Lake Blvd., directly North of the Ridgecrest Regional Hospital and one mile South of the main gate of the Naval Air Weapons Center, China Lake. Urgent Care and Surgery Center entrances are located at the North end of the building.

Take Hwy 178 East
North on Hwy14 (3.5 miles)

Flu Shot Clinics
Who needs the flu shot?
The risk for hospitalization and death due to influenza are higher among those aged 65 and older, young children and persons with underlying health conditions. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends annual flu shots for the following groups of people:
- Adults 50 years of age or older, especially adults aged 65 and older
- Healthy children aged 6--23 months, and close contacts of children aged 0-23 months
- Pregnant women in the second or third trimester during flu season
- Persons of any age with certain chronic medical conditions
- Anyone who lives with or cares for persons at high risk
- Anyone aged 6 months to 18 years who is currently undergoing long-term aspirin treatment
People in the following groups should not get flu vaccine before talking with their doctor:
- People who are have an allergy to chicken eggs
- People who previously developed Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) 6 weeks after getting a flu shot
